You told me that you and most of your classmates went out for a three-day trip.
I really think it fun. Now let me tell you something about a speech contest, which I have taken part in.
The contest was held at the playground last Saturday morning, 7:00 a.m.
The panel is made up of 5 English teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced.
Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2.
It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded.
It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.

It is impossible to recall all the past, but I can assure you that my childhood is a pleasant one to me.
When I was in kinder garden, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness. Once I made an arrow, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.
When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies and went swimming.
I like swimming very much. Thank them for teaching me swimming. I like to play with my friends because I was only a girl. My mother often scolded me when I didn't get home after school but never too severely.
I love my parents. I do think it is one of the best years in my whole life.

I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer holidays. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become a very good player.

This afternoon my school held an English-speaking contest in the multi-function classroom. The contest was named "Challenging the Future"I was present at the contest as an audience.
