核心知識(shí)

1.語(yǔ)法:由whether或if引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句。

二者均表“是否”,均可用來引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句,賓語(yǔ)從句要用陳述語(yǔ)序。

e.g: Tom asked me whether/if I liked the twins.

注意:1)if可以引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句,也可以引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句,而whether不可。

e.g: I’ ll go to the park if it doesn’ t rain tomorrow.

2)whether可置于句首,而if則不能。

e.g:Whether he will be back tomorrow remains a question.

3)從句中帶有or not時(shí),用whether,不用if.

e.g:I don’ t know whether he will come or not.

4)在動(dòng)詞不定式前只能用whether. 不用if.

Please tell me whether to go or to stay.

2.so it is:表“是的,的確這樣”。

so可用來代替上文中的形容詞,名詞或動(dòng)詞,表贊同。句型為So+主語(yǔ)+助動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。

e. g:“It was cold yesterday. ”“So it was

昨天很冷。的確很冷。

注意區(qū)分so+助動(dòng)詞+主語(yǔ)表“…也是”。

e. g.:He is a doctor.So is my sister.

3.lonely與alone.

Lonely意為“孤獨(dú)的”。強(qiáng)調(diào)主觀感受作形容詞,可作表語(yǔ)和定語(yǔ)。

e. g.I feel lonely. 我感到孤獨(dú)。

He’ s a lonely traveller. 他是個(gè)孤獨(dú)的旅行者。

alone:意為“單獨(dú)的”強(qiáng)調(diào)客觀上獨(dú)自、可作形容詞或副詞。

e. g.He likes living alone.He doesn’ t feel lonely.

4.get on with:”與…相處”

get on well with sb. 意為“與…相處融洽”。

get on well with.sth. “…進(jìn)展(順利)”。

e.g:I’ m getting on well with my classmates.

我和我的同學(xué)們相處得很融洽。

How are you getting on with your work?

你的工作進(jìn)展如何?

5.try on:“試穿”

形式有try on sth和try sth on,當(dāng)sth是由代詞代替時(shí),只能放在try與on中間?

Please try it on. 請(qǐng)?jiān)嚧┮幌掳?

6.I can’ t decide which sweater to buy.

我不能決定要買哪件毛衣。

“Which sweater to buy”是decide的賓語(yǔ)。在show.know, tell teach.find out.learn forget.decide等動(dòng)詞后面,常用“疑問代詞或副詞+不定式”作賓語(yǔ)。

e. g:I don’ t know how to get to the post office.

我不知怎樣去郵局。
